Meet the Directors of Joseph Gawler's Sons, Inc.
W. Anthony Murray is a licensed funeral director in
North Carolina, Virginia, the District of Columbia and holds
a courtesy card in Maryland.  Before joining the death-care
industry in 1981, Anthony spent time in agriculture and
sales.  Anthony earned his Mortuary Sciences degree from
Fayetteville Technical Institute and earned a Bachelor's
degree in Business Administration from East Carolina
University.  Anthony was born and raised in Snow Hill,
North Carolina and has resided in the District of Columbia
for more than six years.

William Buggs is a licensed funeral director in the District
of Columbia, Florida, and holds a courtesy card in
Maryland.  William started his career in the death-care
industry 31 years ago after earning his Mortuary Science
degree from the University of the District of Columbia,
formerly known as the Washington Technical Institute.   
William was born in Melbourne, Florida, but has been a
resident of the Metro area for 23 years.
Mark A. Dooms, Funeral Director
Mark Dooms is a licensed funeral director in the District
of Columbia and has lived in the area for ten years.  While
attending North Carolina Central University, Mark started
working in a funeral home and decided to pursue his
interests in the field.  Mark received his Mortuary Sciences
degree from Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service.
Zebulon Brooks is a licensed funeral director in the
District of Columbia and Maryland.  Born and raised in the
District of Columbia, Zebulon received his degree in
Mortuary Sciences from the University of the District of
Columbia and has been in the field for thirteen years.  After
volunteering in a funeral home when he was a teenager,
Zebulon discovered his interest in the death-care industry and
followed in the footsteps of two generations before him to
become the third generation of funeral directors in his family.

Bryan Larson is a licensed funeral director in the District
of Columbia and holds a courtesy card in Maryland.  Born
and raised in Jamestown, New York, Bryan moved to the
Metro area 37 years ago.  Seven years ago, after a
downsizing at his job in a health career for over 25 years,
Bryan decided to go back to school and received his
Mortuary Sciences degree from the University of the District
of Columbia.  Bryan also holds a Bachelor's degree in Health
Care Services and an Associates degree is Respiratory Care.
John Kirksey is a licensed funeral director in the District of
Columbia.  John received his Bachelors of Science degree
from Bowie State University, a Bachelors of Music from the
University of Maryland and his Mortuary Science degree
from Delgado College.
