William A. Gawler
Born in 1909, William A. Gawler joined the Gawler firm in May of 1931.  William
was President of Joseph Gawler's Sons, Inc. when the firm made its move from
Pennsylvania Avenue to its current location on Wisconsin Avenue.  William retired in
1975 and passed away November 24, 1984.
John P. "Jack" Gawler
Born in 1919, John P. "Jack" Gawler joined the family business in 1939 and retired
in April of 1985.  In 1970 Jack contacted a long time friend, Bob Waltrip, and
agreed to sell the family business to Service Corporation International.  Jack passed
away at his summer residence in Belgrade Lakes, Maine on September 16, 1988.
Joseph E. Hagan
Joseph E. Hagan, was employed at Joseph Gawler's Sons, Inc for 52 years and
President of the firm until his death, May 9, 2000.  Mr. Hagan is perhaps best
known for being on the embalming team that prepared President John F. Kennedy.
Randall L. Weagley
Randall L. Weagley has been a licensed funeral director for twenty years and
joined the Gawler organization as President in 2002.  Randy has engineered the
rebuilding of Gawler's infrastructure and has re-established Gawler's strong
presence in the Nation's Capitol and in the death-care industry.  Devoted to
exceeding client family expectation, Randy strives each day to ensure that every
client family at Gawler's receives the highest quality of service with dignity and
respect.  "Image Attracts, Service Keeps, Excellence Grows" has been Mr.
Weagley's motto; assuring that client families remain the number one focus for
each member of the Gawler Staff.
